Manual Silt Density Index Kit used to perform testing and analysis procedure for a range of important RO system and Nono Filtration (NF) parameters in order to measure the degree of fouling problem of RO membranes. Here filtration rates are calculated by passing the RO wate R thorough 0.45-micron filters inside SDI kit. An SDI value less than 5 considered acceptable for RO systems. Also, the SDI value of feedwater is required to calculate membrane fouling time, backwash frequency and RO membrane life span.
